INOGA Scholarship Opportunity
The Indiana Oil and Gas Association has scholarship funds available to students entering college in the fall. The amount and number of scholarships depends on the applicants and available funds.
The requirements for the scholarships are:
- Be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program.
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Have a financial need determined by the scholarship committee.
- Show an interest in the oil and gas industry.
- Be attending college in the fall of 2012.
- Be a resident of Indiana or attending an Indiana college.
- Be pursuing a bachelor's degree, with preference given for Earth Sciences, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Geology majors.
- The submission of an essay describing applicant’s interest in the oil and gas industry.
