Countrymark Cooperative, one of America’s premier small petroleum refiners, is seeking candidates for Division Order Analyst for its petroleum manufacturing operations located in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Primary job duties include: Reviewing and analyzing legal documents affecting changes in ownership of oil and gas leases; Maintain ownership files which control payments to owners; Analyzing legal documents regarding distribution of general estates and transfers of leasehold interests with assistance of senior division order staff and attorneys as needed; Analyzing mortgage documents to identify proper mortgagor and proper lease descriptions; Authorizing payment and impoundment of accounts to owners; Issuing required paperwork to complete transfers.
Qualified Candidates will possess:
Paralegal degree with concentration in real estate is highly
desired; Associates, Bachelors degree in accounting or business
administration is preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Prior work experience with oil / gas lease interest
administration, and/or experience related to legal aspects of real
estate or mortgage administration is highly preferred.
