2011 Facility of the Year
CountryMark Energy Resources - Clem Reavis - Crude Oil Storage Facility
CountryMark's
Clem Reavis tank battery is located 5 miles East of Princeton on
State Highway 64 in Gibson County, Indiana in Sec 24-T2S-R10W. This
tank battery was constructed in 1978 by Lear Resources. At that
time, the production from two vertical oil wells was going into this
site. In 1979, an injection well was drilled on the lease and a
water injection plant was constructed. After Core Minerals acquired
the lease in 2009, two horizontal wells were drilled and the
restoration tank battery and injection facility began. Countrymark
Energy Resources acquired the asset in 2010 and completed the
restoration. Countrymark Energy Resources continues to make great
strides in updating its 200+ Tank Battery sites in the Illinois
Basin. The Clem Reavis is a good example of what a tank batter and
injection facility can and should look like.
